I Viaggiatori (released as The Voyagers) is a 2022 Italian fantasy-adventure film blending science fiction with historical drama. It centers on a group of teenagers who unexpectedly time-travel to 1939 Italy during the Fascist regime.
At BUBU, we handled an extensive amount of CGI work to bring this ambitious era-hopping story to the screen. Our contribution included detailed set extensions to authentically recreate the 1939 historical setting, alongside complex particle systems and multiple explosion sequences that heightened the film's sci-fi action.
