El Turco
El Turco is an epic historical drama that allowed us to recreate a sweeping 17th-century world. The story follows Balaban, a soldier in the Janissary army, who settles in Moena, Italy, following the Battle of Vienna in 1683 to lead a heroic fight for the rights of the local people.
Working alongside our partners at Stargate Studios Malta, our team had the unique opportunity to bring this period piece to life through extensive set extensions that captured the rugged beauty of northern Italy and the scale of the Ottoman era. To populate the series' grandest moments, we utilized advanced crowd multiplications and intricate FX to simulate the atmosphere of post-war resistance and historical grit. This collaboration allowed us to blend historical authenticity with high-impact visual storytelling.
