Directed by Milko Lazarov, Ága (2018) is a critically acclaimed drama recognized for its stunning cinematography and meditative exploration of the vanishing traditional lifestyle of the indigenous Yakut people in Siberia.
At BUBU, we handled the entire post-production for this visually striking project. Our work included detailed set extensions, CGI elements, and compositing. The primary goal was to create truly invisible visual effects that blended perfectly with the original footage, which was authentically shot on traditional film in extremely harsh weather conditions.
